Jakarta – Program Pemeriksaan Kesehatan Gratis atau PKG segera dimulai bulan ini. Menteri Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (PPPA), Epictoto Arifah Fauzi turut mendukung program besutan Presiden Prabowo Subianto itu.
Sebagai upaya menyukseskan program skrining gratis, Arifah mendorong peran perempuan dalam memberikan edukasi dan penyadaran kepada anggota keluarga mereka terkait pentingnya pemeriksaan kesehatan.
“Program Cek Kesehatan Gratis merupakan program penting yang akan memberikan dampak positif bagi kesehatan masyarakat kita. Oleh karenanya, kita perlu memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat bahwa Cek Kesehatan Gratis ini dibutuhkan,” kata Arifah dalam Rapat Koordinasi Tingkat Menteri terkait Program Cek Kesehatan Gratis yang dilaksanakan oleh Kemenko PMK secara hibrid, Kamis (23/1/2025).
Dia menambahkan, edukasi soal pentingnya skrining kesehatan di lingkup rumah tangga banyak dilaksanakan oleh perempuan sebagai manajer keluarga. Maka dari itu, peran perempuan di sini sangat penting.
Agar para perempuan bisa menyebarkan edukasi di tingkat keluarga, maka sosialisasi program Cek Kesehatan Gratis kepada masyarakat khususnya perempuan perlu dilaksanakan dari level akar rumput. Yakni mulai dari tingkat desa.
Mendukung upaya tersebut, Arifah menilai, Ruang Bersama Indonesia (RBI) dapat menjadi sarana sosialisasi menggerakan masyarakat agar lebih peduli mengenai kesehatan dan mau memeriksakan diri ke fasilitas kesehatan terdekat.
Ibu Berperan Dorong Keluarga Jadi Lebih Peduli Kesehatan
Lebih lanjut Arifah mengatakan, perempuan atau ibu dapat memberi pengaruh positif pada seluruh anggota keluarga di rumah.
“Kalau perempuan atau ibu di dalam suatu keluarga sudah memiliki kesadaran terkait pentingnya kesehatan, maka dia akan mendorong keluarganya datang untuk memeriksakan kesehatan.”
“Oleh karenanya, Kemen PPPA siap menjalin kolaborasi dengan seluruh kementerian/lembaga dalam memberikan edukasi dan membangun kesadaran masyarakat terkait manfaat pemeriksaan kesehatan yang dimulai dari tingkat desa/kelurahan,” tutur Arifah.

Arifah berpendapat, Program Pemeriksaan Kesehatan Gratis sangat baik karena bisa memberikan peluang yang setara bagi perempuan untuk mengakses layanan kesehatan. Terutama bagi mereka yang sebelumnya terabaikan karena keterbatasan ekonomi atau diskriminasi gender.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Menteri Koordinator Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan (Menko PMK), Pratikno menyampaikan bahwa program Cek Kesehatan Gratis merupakan salah satu Quick Win Presiden.
Program Cek Kesehatan Gratis menjadi program prioritas yang menempati posisi teratas yang ditunggu dan diperhatikan masyarakat dengan persentase sebesar 85 persen.
Dalam rapat tersebut, Menko PMK memastikan program Cek Kesehatan Gratis dapat berjalan efektif melalui dukungan dari berbagai aspek, mulai dari anggaran, pengelolaan data, infrastruktur, pemanfaatan aplikasi, dan berbagai aspek lain.
“Kita sinergikan dan kawal program Cek Kesehatan Gratis agar berjalan dengan baik. Mohon dukungan dan komitmen seluruh kementerian/lembaga untuk program Cek Kesehatan Gratis ini, agar dapat memberikan manfaat,” kata Pratikno.
Program Paling Masif yang Pernah Dilakukan Kemenkes
Rapat ini juga dihadiri Menteri Kesehatan Budi Gunadi Sadikin. Dia mengatakan, sebagian besar kasus kematian yang terjadi di Indonesia merupakan kasus yang dapat dicegah.
Penyakit tidak menular seperti jantung, stroke dan kanker bisa ditangani dini melalui pemeriksaan kesehatan dan bisa mengurangi risiko kematian.
“Program Cek Kesehatan Gratis adalah program paling masif yang pernah dilakukan oleh Kemenkes dari sisi coverage-nya, yakni 280 juta lebih penduduk Indonesia. Saya rasa juga jadi program yang paling masif yang pernah dilakukan pemerintah,” ucap Budi.
Cek Kesehatan Gratis ini dibagi menjadi tiga program. Pertama Cek Kesehatan Gratis Khusus yang sudah dilaksanakan sebelumnya kepada balita terkait pemeriksaan gizi, dan pemeriksaan ibu hamil selama sembilan bulan.
“Program yang baru adalah Cek Kesehatan Gratis Ulang Tahun dan Cek Kesehatan Gratis Sekolah,” kata Menteri Kesehatan.
Budi berharap, kementerian/lembaga dapat mengambil peran dalam mendukung dan mensosialisasikan Cek Kesehatan Gratis ke masyarakat. Berkaitan dengan perempuan dan anak, Menkes berharap Kemen PPPA dapat mendorong perempuan dan anak ikut berpartisipasi di program Cek Kesehatan Gratis.
